Biography

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida earning my bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Strategic Communications.

I have always had a passion for studying the past and analyzing how history can assist us in the future. With my education, I hope to become a museum education curator, preservationist, or go into public relations and media management.

I have experience working with and teaching young students in museum and studio settings from the Orlando Museum of Art in Orlando, Florida, and at The Music Box in Winter Springs, Florida. In both experiences, I learned how to properly execute targeted lesson plans that allow students to show their full range of creative skills while also learning about a specific artist, movement, or skill.

As a future historian, my primary goal is to help future generations see themselves in the arts and culture we see everyday. Whether this be by preserving and rehabilitating cultural heritage sites or making museum education more accessible and diverse, I want to motivate students to continue making the world of arts and culture a more accepting space for everyone.
